MHE Associates have extensive experience of preparing Flood Risk Assessments (FRA’s) which are fully compliant with National Planning Policy Framework.
If you are unfamiliar with FRA’s and when and why they are required then please click here for more information.
In line with the National Planning Policy Framework and Ciria Publication “Development & Flood Risk – A guide for the Construction Industry” MHE offer three types of FRA:
Level 1 – Screening Study
Initial investigation into whether any flooding or surface water management issues exist which may warrant further consideration.
Level 2 – Scoping Study
A qualitative appraisal of the flood risk posed to the site and the potential impact of the development on flood risk elsewhere.
Level 3 – Detailed Study
A quantitative appraisal of the flood risk posed to the site and the potential impact of the development on flood risk elsewhere.
For further information on what is inlcuded within FRA Levels 1, 2 and 3 see our FRA Schedule.
